The auth code (EPP code) is a secret password for confirming domain transfer. Request it from your current registrar in your account or by email. For .UA zone domains it is issued by Hostmaster.ua.
The transfer usually takes from a few hours to 5-7 days depending on the domain zone. .UA and .COM.UA — typically 2-3 days. International domains (.com, .net) — up to 5-7 days.
Yes, if you do not change NS servers during transfer. DNS records are preserved and the site continues to work. NS changes take effect only after you manually update them with the new registrar.
Transfer is not possible if: the domain was registered less than 60 days ago, the domain is locked (Registrar Lock status), the domain has an active dispute or a court order. Check all conditions before initiating transfer.
