What is SSL?
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is an encryption technology that protects the connection between a visitor's browser and your website. Sites with SSL have https:// at the beginning of the address and a padlock icon in the browser.
Why do you need it?
- Data security — all data between the user and the site is encrypted
- Customer trust — browsers mark sites without SSL as "Not Secure"
- SEO — Google gives preference to HTTPS sites in search results
- Required for stores — without SSL you cannot accept online payments
What SSL options do we offer?
- Let's Encrypt — free, renews automatically every 90 days. Suitable for most websites.
- Paid certificates — commercial SSL from Sectigo, RapidSSL and others. Suitable for online stores, banks, corporate sites. Include warranty and extended validation (OV/EV).
How to get SSL?
If you're on our hosting — Let's Encrypt can be activated in one click via cPanel. Paid certificates can be ordered in Services → SSL Certificates in your client area.
